How I started!
Have you ever wanted to do something but you were scared? Or worse, your mind was coming up with excuses as to why you couldn’t start? Well, that was me prior to 2020. I wanted so much to create a podcast and to share my story to help inspire others. Yet I was gripped by fear, and I didn’t know how to get started.
Little did I know that the universe had an answer for me. Prior to the pandemic, a dear friend who I’ve known for over ten years reached out to me and invited me to an event called Podfest.
I didn’t know at the time when I said yes, that this event was going to be life changing event!
I said yes, not really knowing what I said yes to, other than I was going to Orlando on specific dates. I was excited and scared at the same time.
I’ve done over 50 episodes of my 1st show, I started speaking internationally, and have now spoken over 200 times. I’ve become a finalist in a Ted Talk style event and now applied for a major Ted Talk. Without Podfest and the events that have led to it, I would never have had the confidence to get this far. I owe all of this to Podfest and the people I met there.
I’ve been on over 100 podcasts as a guest, and now I’m relaunching my own podcast and I’m working on my own book.
